The idea of making my own workbench arised from reading the Woodworking Magazines.
There were several articles from an American guy named "Christopher Schwarz" who built workbenches "the old style" ... sturdy, reduced to the functions one needs.
After a time he wrote a book called "Workbenches - from Design & Theory to Construction & Use" ... naturaly I bought it.
So the ticking in my head went on for a while
